This suspension only pertains to the training department. The normal day-to-day union functions will continue as normal. Both union offices will remain open and membership meetings will continue to be held.
Recruitment and applicant events such as, skills bootcamp, open house, mechanical aptitude tests and interviews as still on the schedule at this time but we encourage applicants to check our website often for updates and potential postponement’s
Once apprenticeships classes resume, the school year will be completed by extending the school schedule into the month of May. Employers will be notified, and the normal apprenticeship guidelines will be followed.

While we know that, this is an inconvenience to the training program as well as all the apprentices and instructors themselves. The health and safety of our members and their families is the most important thing during this time.
