NYSERDA Heat Pump Training (UPDATED) - (9/16/2021)
State decarbonization efforts have put a focus on converting all building systems over to an all-electric platform. As a result, the need for heat pump installers and technicians is at an all-time high. This course is designed to satisfy that growing need for qualified heat pump installers and technicians. At course end students will be able to properly install, start-up, commission, troubleshoot and repair a heat pump, and harvest data from a live system locally and remotely.
Local 81 is offering the following upcoming classes to support this effort. These classes are being offer to the apprentices as part of there apprenticeship training but are open to all members of Local 81.
Dec. 7th, 4pm - 9pm - Gouverneur Training Center
Dec. 9th, 4pm - 9pm - Ithaca Training Center
Dec. 13th, 4pm - 9pm - Syracuse Training Center
